About the Role

We are seeking professional, reliable, enthusiastic brand ambassadors to join the Clover Sonoma team. In this role, you will serve as the face and voice of Clover, build brand recognition, and successfully promote our products. You will communicate and engage with customers in meaningful ways to increase our company’s brand awareness.  This role will help in a variety of capacities regarding events – set up and tear down, demoing products, passing out samples and acting as handler/support for our mascot, Clo the Cow.

Please note: This is a part-time, on-call position with approximately 10-20 hours per week, but hours are not guaranteed. This role requires schedule flexibility. You will generally be scheduled on weekend days, but there may be some weekday and evening events as well. 

Responsibilities

  • Attend/execute events for Clover Sonoma throughout Northern CA
  • Be the face of the Clover brand, welcoming and knowledgeable
  • Set up demo table, signage, and/or event tent, keeping the space clean and well organized
  • Demonstrate Clover products by educating consumers about the brand and product attributes, pass out samples and coupons
  • Pack, load and pick up product from Clover warehouse (as needed) or from in-store checking in with point of contact to set up where needed
  • Provide recaps at the end of demo/event (fill out paperwork and snap photos)
  • Responsible for keeping track of demo assets (table, tablecloth, branded gear, etc)
  • Assist Clo the Cow (mascot) to walk safely, keep her “safe” from the public, and assist in getting the person in and out of the mascot suit safely, while at events
  • Act as on-site point of contact (and elevate issues to supervisor when needed)
  • Represent Clover Sonoma as our Mascot (inside mascot costume) as fill-in, on an as-needed basis
  • Support/execute in-store demos on as needed / as available basis
  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including health and sanitation, adhere to safe work practices
  • Willingness to drive Clover vehicle as fill-in (on an as needed basis) is a plus!
  • Other marketing tasks and projects as assigned

What You Bring to the Team

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous work experience as a Brand Ambassador, demo staff, or in Customer Service desired
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays (schedule varies weekly)
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Engaging, outgoing, approachable personality
  • Passion for meeting new people and enjoy working with the public
  • Must be professional and punctual
  • Must be able to lift 40+lbs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; driving record must meet insurability requirement
  • Must have car or personal transportation to access various store and event locations
