Producer Relations Coordinator

Full Time

About the Role

The Producer Relations Coordinator should be a motivated, organized individual, with good interpersonal skills, and be reasonably familiar with local agriculture and animal husbandry. They will support the goals and objectives of the Producer Relations Department. As a part of this team, you will work closely with Clover Sonoma and our family farms to support our Clover Promise of Excellence initiatives. This position reports to the Producer Relations Manager.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive and aid with producer administrative requests
  • Receive internal requests from marketing for producers
  • Review milk production and quality data and generate reports
  • Support dairies with regulatory compliance
  • Support Clover QA with regulatory compliance as it relates to our dairies
  • Aid in producer related event planning
  • Receive and help reconcile logistic issues
  • Obtain and provide industry updates to producers
  • Monitor social media
  • Other internal requests or tasks from the manager as assigned

What you bring to the Team

  • Associate degree in agriculture or combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills (Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in agriculture or animal husbandry and or (combination of experience working in the dairy or food and beverage industry is a plus)
  • Some knowledge of the QA regulatory compliance process in the dairy industry or food and beverage industry is a plus
  • Ability to interface with others in a confident manner
  • Self-motivated and deadline driven
  • Basic computer skills (G-suite, Microsoft package, especially excel)
  • Ability to travel to dairy locations as required up to 50% of the time.
  • Flexible ways of working to excel within both corporate and agricultural environment.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to perform light physical labor on the job that include walking, standing on your feet for periods and or climbing steps. This also includes the ability to bend, kneel, or stooping and have the Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
