Supply Chain Associate

Full Time

About the Role

As a key member of the Supply Chain team, you will perform a wide array of Supply Chain duties including purchasing, data acquisition and input, identifying and resolving discrepancies, scheduling and managing customer order fulfillment.

You will work under the direction of the Commodities Manager in an office/industrial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Collect receiving paperwork daily; verify information; communicate and gather missing paperwork from trucking companies; record information into Excel spreadsheet
  • Input Production Customer Orders and Purchase Orders into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
  • Create and submit purchase orders for commodities.  Track inventory levels and replenishment dates.
  • Verify accurate record of “proof of delivery” transactions in ERP system
  • Resolve disputes and discrepancies in a timely fashion
  • Report weights and measures on all deliveries to our customers
  • Review and submit monthly charges for weight tags
  • Collect and input production paperwork into Excel spreadsheet
  • Work with the finance department on balancing quantities (weights and components) to ensure accuracy prior to billing customers
  • Assist accounting with Producer Payroll on a bi-monthly basis

What You Bring to the Team

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years accounting and administrative business experience
  • Supply Chain experience strongly desired
  • Experience with ERP software and other manufacturing software is highly desirable
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail  and strong analytical skills
  • Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and with our Producer partners.
