What’s the Deal with A2 Milk?

This year, we introduced our new Pasture Raised Organic A2 4% Whole Milk as part of our ongoing commitment to offer delicious, nutritious milk that works for every body. But what exactly is A2, and why should you try it? Let’s take a closer look.
Dairy cows produce different types of proteins, including A1 and A2 beta-caseins. Our A2 milk contains only the A2 beta-casein, which some studies suggest may be easier for certain people to digest. Despite this difference, A2 milk is no different from your typical glass of milk. In fact, most cows produce a combination of both A1 and A2 proteins, so you’ve likely already tried A2 milk without even realizing it!
We source our organic A2 milk from select breeds of cows that naturally produce the A2 protein, all from family farms right here in Northern California. A2 milk is most commonly produced by Guernsey and Jersey cows – you can even spot Jerseys on our A2 cartons!
We love A2 milk for its delicious taste and ability to offer a gentler option for sensitive stomachs. It’s also a fantastic ingredient for all your baking needs! A2 milk can easily replace regular milk in any of our recipes. Tag us in your creations on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook!
