About the Role
The Human Resources Coordinator handles and provides support for various HR employee programs and recruitment and assists in the bi-weekly payroll processing to ensure compliance of company policies, union, and local, state and federal employment laws.
What You Bring to the Team
- HRIS experience – preferably ADP
- LOA / Benefit administration expertise
- Knowledge of local, federal and state employment, leave of absence and wage and hour laws
- Recruitment experience with specific job roles and posting to various public sites
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of written communication and proofreading skills.
- Flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- Resolve problems in a timely manner and skillfully gather and analyze information.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, intermediate level Excel.
- Travel within Petaluma to the plant or distribution warehouse as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources.
- PHR, SPHR or other creditable HR certificates is preferred.
