Savory Bacon and Cheddar Cheese Scones
BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger Cupcakes

Ingredients
- 12 slices Clover Cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/3 cup chopped yellow onion
- 1 bottle Kinders™ BBQ sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chopped cooked bacon
- 1 can of Pillsbury™ Flaky Layers Buttermilk biscuits
- Pickle slices, lettuce, grape tomatoes, ketchup and mustard, if desired
- Toothpicks or mini skewers

Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 16 nonstick muffin cups with cooking spray; set aside. Set aside 16 cheese quarters for topping biscuits.

In a nonstick skillet, cook turkey and onion over medium for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until turkey is thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in BBQ sauce sauce, salt and pepper. Decrease heat to low; add 3/4 cups of the bacon and remaining cheese quarters. Cook and stir until cheese is melted.

Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Carefully separate each biscuit into 2 thin rounds to make 16 total rounds. Firmly press 1 biscuit round in bottom and up side of each muffin cup, forming 1/4-inch rim.

Spoon turkey mixture evenly into biscuit cups.

Bake 17 minutes; top each with 1 cheese quarter. Return to oven 2 to 3 minutes or until biscuits are deep golden brown and cheese is melted.

Remove from oven and top with remaining 1/4 cup bacon. Garnish with pickle, tomato and lettuce stacked on toothpick. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard.
