NATURAL DESSERT DECORATIONS

It’s dessert decorating season and while I love sprinkles (A LOT), I’m even more in love with these natural cake decorations (for any dessert you’re having this season).

Whether you buy your desserts or you make them yourself (or a combo like me – cake mix and homemade whipped cream!), these dessert toppings can be done by you and look so stylish!

While I tried to show as many option as I could here, in reality, I would probably only pick 1-3 toppings for a cake or cupcakes and then repeat them. Right now my favorite are the dried orange slices, star anise, and the fresh rosemary.

The easiest decoration idea is the one you have at home. We always have bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, and star anise in my spice drawer – year round. The fresh herbs – lemon balm, mint, and rosemary – are easily attainable year round, which is easy enough.
