As a leadership team, we are currently reflecting on our commitments and the bold action steps that we can take to continue to be an example of how business can be a force for good. Our founding father, Gene Benedetti, had a vision to build a company that embodied his personal ethos, “to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” 

Today, Clover Cares is Gene’s ethos put into action and as a third generation family owned organization, our first priority has always been to improve the lives of our communities. We are using this important and impactful moment to reflect on how we can further our commitments to enrich the lives of these communities and families that we serve. And more specifically how we can take action to increase equality for underserved communities and people of color. We see you, we hear your pain, and we stand with you.

Not only can we at Clover do more, but we believe that the natural foods industry must take bold steps to create an inclusive, equitable, more just world. We’re proud to support and stand with the Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (J.E.D.I) Collaborative, which exists to further this work and enable changes industry wide.  

We are committed to supporting and providing resources to our Clover family, producers, consumers, and all stakeholders to advance social justice, eradicate systemic racism and be part of this work for the greater good.
