Preheat the oven to 425.

Using a serrated knife cut bread into thick slices leaving about 1/2 inch at the bottom uncut. You want to be careful not to cut through the bread to hold and contain the butter filling while cooking.

Combine remaining ingredients with a fork and mix well.

Stuff butter filling into crevices of the bread evenly.

Wrap bread tightly in aluminum foil, place bread on baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.

Uncover the bread and bake for an additional 5 minutes to crisp up the outside of the bread.
