Bread Pudding Base
Eggnog Sauce

Preheat oven to 350℉.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggnog, milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.

Add the bread and toss to coat with the eggnog mixture.

Pour the mixture over the bread cubes, making sure all of the bread is covered.

Pour into a greased baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes.

Next, prepare the eggnog sauce.

Over medium heat, whisk together eggnog, sugar, and cornstarch.

Slowly add mixture to beaten egg, whisking quickly.

Pour mixture back into saucepan and whisk over low heat until gently boiling.

Remove from heat and stir in butter.

Pour eggnog sauce over bread pudding and serve!
