Pumpkin Trifles with Black Whipped Cream
Stockhome Petaluma Swedish Pancakes
From the husband-wife duo, Chef Roberth and Andrea Sundell –owners of San Francisco’s PLÄJ Restaurant and longtime Petaluma residents – comes Stockhome, a family-friendly eatery located in downtown Petaluma, CA.
The Sundell’s counter-service restaurant aims to celebrate the popular cuisine found on the streets of present-day Stockholm and highlight their favorite things to eat while visiting. Serving dishes inspired by current Swedish favorites, which have heavy influences from the Middle East, as well as several classic Swedish offerings.
Ingredients
1/2 cup Clover Sonoma Buttermilk
1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
1 cup All-Purpose flower
1 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Kosher salt
3/4 cup Clover Sonoma Whole Milk
1/4 tsp Clover Sonoma Unsalted Butter

Whisk eggs, vanilla and buttermilk together

Sift flour, sugar and salt in

Add milk, whisk until nice and smooth

Let rest for 5-10 minutes

Warm a 12 inch pan

Add 1/4 tsp unsalted butter to pan

Pour 1/2 cup of pancake batter in the middle of pan

Move the pan so the batter reaches the edges and forms a nice round circle

After 1-2 minutes shake the pan to release the pancake and flip to the other side

Cook for 30 seconds

Serve with whipped cream and fresh berries. Enjoy!
