Galentine’s Day Linzer Tart Cookies

Baked with love, laughter, and a touch of our Organic Sweet Cream Salted Butter!

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour

3/4 cup of powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon of salt

3/4 cup of Organic Sweet Cream Salted Butter cubes and chilled

1 Organic Large Brown Free Range Egg yolk

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Filling: 1/2 cup of jam of choice

Directions

Mix together flour, cubed butter and powdered sugar.

Add in one egg yolk and vanilla extract.

After mixing all ingredients together, roll cookie dough out till smooth.

Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out the dough. Then, use a smaller heart shaped cookie cutter to cut the middle of half of the cookies.

Bake cookies at 325 degrees for about 7-10 minutes until they are very light brown on the bottom.

Add jam of choice to the bottom of the cookies that don't have the middle cut out. Then place the other cookies on top, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and enjoy!
